This year Lester, Father FigMented, started the season at NHIS where he worked out the crinkles of the offseason, which seemed to continue the entire weekend. Lester went out and had an incident with a back marker resulting in suspension damage which could not be resolve at the track. Better luck next time!!!

9/6-9/7 overview: After qualifying in the rain on Saturday morning, Team FIgMented prepared the car for a track that was quickly drying. At the start of race 1, Adam had a decent start, but was stricken with some bad luck when the cam sensor bolt came loose, causing the car to immediately shut off. With the expertise from Father FigMented and the help of Flatout Motorsports, the car was back and ready for day two. Day two was pay back for the hardships brung upon the team the previous day. Adam started third as a result of running his best lap times ever at NHIS. After a hard fought firtst few laps, Adam eventually moved into first for a period of time, then due to handling issues and a driver error, slipped back to his final finishing position of third.
7/26-7/27 overview: After working diligently to work out some handling issues on the Friday pre-race weekend test session, Adam struggled to keep with the front runners. In the Saturday qualifier, Adam had a great start, moving into third, then eventually losing that position after a hard fought battle. Based on the results of the Saturday qualifier, the grid was set for Sunday. Again, Adam had a decent start staying with the front runners, then slowly lost ground due to some unfortunate traffic issues in key portions of the track. Once settled, Adam and fellow Mo-Hud racer Peter Smith had a great back and forth battle finally resulting in a photo finish at the line. Looking at the final race results shows that Adam and Peter ran the exact same average lap speed for the entire race. There is no confirming data showing how close the result actually was.
5/10-5/11 overview: Adam has never raced at Pocono's high speed layout, but proved his ability to deal with adversity and unfamiliarity to produce two strong race finishes. In Race 1, Adam was battling for 4 place overall when two competitors in front of him came together causing Adam to take evasive action and resulting in a lazy spin on the in-field grass. In Race 2, Adam made some early moves to advance a couple of spots and slotted into a strong 5th place finish. During the enduro, Lester began the 2.5 hr race, and then handed the car off to Adam to finish. Team FigMented was dealing with a fuel gauge problem the entire race, in which the gauge was not reading any fuel level, therefore fuel management played an important role which explains the slower lap times. Team FigMented crossed the finish line on sheer vapors and will, resulting in one of the most nail biting finishes to date.
